Vehicles we accept in California

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Rev Up Hope, we believe in the power of giving, which is why we accept nearly any vehicle, running or not. Our mission is to connect California residents with vital benefits, and every donation helps fuel that mission. Whether it's a car, truck, motorcycle, or something more unique, your contribution makes a difference. We understand that life happens, and sometimes vehicles are no longer usable. Donating your vehicle is an easy way to support your community while also clearing out space in your driveway or garage. Let us help you turn your old vehicle into hope for your neighbors!

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1990-present

Donated cars often end up at auctions or are recycled for parts. This allows us to generate funds and support our community-based services. Many of these vehicles are in working condition, offering new owners reliable transportation.

In urban areas like Los Angeles, donated sedans help families gain access to jobs and education, making a direct impact on community growth.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks generally find new life through auctions or resale, often appealing to tradespeople and small businesses that need reliable vehicles for work.

In agricultural regions, donated pickups are vital for farmers and contractors, equipping them with the tools needed to thrive.

SUVs & Crossovers
2000-present

SUVs and crossovers are frequently resold or auctioned, providing families with larger vehicles for travel and outdoor activities.

As families enjoy California's beautiful landscapes, these vehicles often assist in road trips and adventures in the great outdoors.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles can be refurbished or sold at auction, appealing to enthusiasts and new riders. They can also be used for parts.

Motorcycling is a popular pastime in California, especially along coastal roads, making these donations meaningful for riders.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers are often sold directly to enthusiasts or auctioned, as they provide value to families looking for adventure.

With California's stunning national parks, RVs open doors for family vacations and memories in the Golden State.

Boats
2000-present

Boats can be auctioned or resold, often attracting buyers looking for recreational options or marine activities.

In coastal areas, donated boats enhance water activities, providing fun and relaxation for families along California's beautiful shores.

Commercial Vehicles
1990-present

Commercial vehicles are typically sold at auction or repurposed, supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs in the community.

In urban areas, these vehicles are vital for local businesses to operate and support the economy.

Non-running Vehicles
Any condition

Even non-running vehicles can be recycled or salvaged for parts, contributing valuable materials back to the economy.

In cities, non-running cars often symbolize the need for better transportation solutions and enhance local recycling efforts.

Condition guide

When considering a donation to Rev Up Hope, it's essential to understand the different vehicle conditions we accept. Running vehicles can be sold or auctioned, providing significant funds to our programs. If your vehicle isn't running, that's okay too! We can still accept it for parts or recycling, ensuring it doesn't go to waste and continues to contribute to local efforts.

Vehicles with salvage titles may also be accepted, depending on their condition. However, if your vehicle has a missing title, or if a lienholder is present, these situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We encourage you to contact us for clarification on any specific concerns you may have regarding your vehicle's title or condition!
